You Paid For It: Furniture followup
Two years later, the final chapter is written on some expensive New York State Senate furniture.
In early 2016, we told you the Senate spent more than $2 million on new furniture for virtually every Senate office in the Capitol and the Legislative Office Building -- chairs, tables, everything.
Some of the old furniture was sent to district offices -- and a lot of it went to Albany's Veterans Miracle Center to be given to vets in need.
After giving furniture to vets for two years, the Center just sent the remaining pieces to groups helping hurricane victims in Florida and Texas.
At last check, the Assembly was getting along just fine, with the furniture it has been using for years.
