NISKAYUNA, NY (WRGB) — The winter games will soon be returning to New York.
In 2023, the FISU World University Games will be held in Lake Placid, featuring collegiate athletes from more than 50 countries and 600 universities. In an effort to increase the spirit and excitement for the upcoming competition, the FISU World University Games unveiled their new mascot, Adirondack Mac. Over the next year, Mac will roam the northeast to spread the word about the largest multi-sport collegiate event in the world.
During his stop in the Capital Region, the talented moose showed off his curling skills in a competition with local media at the Schenectady Curling Club.
