Shenendehowa senior Yeva Klingbeil has been an inspiration to her teammates since she was first diagnosed with cancer back in 2019. Her compassion, big smile and unwavering positivity motivated her friends and teammates even as she went through debilitating rounds of chemotherapy.

Now, Yeva has become an inspiration to hundreds of thousands more. Monday, a video of Yeva crossing the finish line went viral and was featured on the multiple national TV news shows.

It's a tradition at Shenendehowa for seniors to run the 4X1 relay at the last home meet of the season. Despite undergoing chemo treatment earlier in the day, Yeva wasn't missing the relay.
