Adam "AJ" Pankowski

AJ Pankowski joined the CBS 6 team in August 2022. He comes to the capital region after finishing up his master’s degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. A Syracuse native, AJ has always had a passion for sports but found his love for storytelling and covering athletics while at the Newhouse School.

During his time in college, AJ was proud to cover Syracuse University Athletics and local high school sports and even had the opportunity to cover the 2022 Buffalo Bills Training Camp. While covering college and pro sports is what AJ loves, he prides himself on telling off-the-field local sports stories that go beyond the highlights.
