Ashley Cusicanqui

Ashley Cusicanqui joined the WRGB CBS 6 News Team in January of 2023 as a Multimedia Journalist.

Before coming to the Capital Region, she reported for WSBT 22 news in South Bend, Indiana for almost almost a year and a half.

A New Jersey native, she was raised in Little Egg Harbor before moving to North Jersey to attend Montclair State University.

Ashley graduated with a degree in Television and Digital Media with a Concentration in sports broadcasting from Montclair State University.

One of her more memorable moments at MSU was co-anchoring for NewsLab, the University’s broadcast station.

Her passion for journalism comes from her desire to connect with people, and not just tell a story, but to know what it’s like to walk in someone else’s shoes.

When Ashley's not at work, she enjoys cooking, working out, and spending time with friends and family.
