Sam Coplin

Sam has dreamed of becoming a broadcast meteorologist since he was very young. Growing up in New Jersey, he loved tracking the four seasons of weather that the region provided.

In college at Cornell University, he volunteered to do weekly live forecasts at nearby Ithaca College for their news program. After graduation, he interned at his hometown station.

It is the station that inspired him to pursue meteorology growing up, WABC in New York City. He now steps foot into WRGB with the desire to learn, grow and share his deep passion and excitement for meteorology with the viewers at home.
